My 2 cent: so far so good r,cool browser,terasa ringan sebab interface die simple je,(aku run Google Chrome ni dgn Vista Ultimate(PIRATE),1.8ghz Celeron,and 2gb ram)especially dgn feature dynamic tabs yg mana user leh drag kuar tab from the browser utk jadikan window baru,n still can drag balik that window into the browser utk jadikan tab..huhu.
thus google chrome in short word:
Speed. It wasn’t just my imagination. Sites are loading faster for me, and others as well from what I’ve read.
Downloads. Much nicer in Chrome. I tend to save lots of photos, documents, etc. Chrome doesn’t have that annoying downloads box, it simply displays d/l progress in the bottom portion of the screen.
Incognito mode. Nifty little feature for not leaving a browsing history, from what I gather. I still haven’t really messed with that.
Images. Chrome seems to not like .gifs very much, not sure why. This needs to be looked at by the developers.
Plug-ins. This is the main reason I’m still using Firefox for my browsing. Right now, there aren’t really any plug-ins available for Chrome(for obvious reasons). As soon as this changes, I think a lot of people will switch.
Memory. Uses much less than Firefox, unless you’re one of the people with a lot of tabs open (I assume). I still haven’t checked to see how much it uses with a lot of tabs open.
Themes. There are already a few themes out for it, if you look hard enough. Within hours of it’s release, I had already switched to a black theme. Once Google releases themes, and adds in a theme switcher, it’ll be much easier and customizable.
Address bar/search bar. I’m loving this. It’s nice to be able to search, put in address, etc., all in the same space.
anyway i m loving it.said to be faster than FF n IE7?8?..anyway its still BETA so dont expect much.
there were flaw reported such as
- inability to process RSS feeds.
- lack of a permanent status bar takes some getting used to
- a few others..but WTH..its still beta.
[Google Chrome has added a "porn mode" called Incognito mode. When browsing in Incognito, none of your activity will be recorded on your computer. That means no history, no files saved in the cache, no cookies, and no evidence you've been naughty].demn.
